Job Summary
Providing essential technical support for funding applications, the full-time Associate Proposal Coordinator will assist faculty and staff in proposal preparation, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage award processes, with the option to work fully remote, in-person, or hybrid.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and submission of external funding applications
- Review, negotiate, and accept contracts while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Manage awards and provide ongoing support to faculty and staff throughout the proposal process
Required qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a professional office environment with a Bachelor's degree, or 2 years' experience with a Master's degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Demonstrated critical analysis skills and judgment in applying university policies and federal regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborative work in a team environment
