Job Summary
To support a growing reinsurance practice, the full-time Associate Reinsurance Actuary will lead complex pricing analyses, mentor team members, and provide actuarial insights to influence underwriting strategy while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform pricing reviews for complex new and renewal reinsurance business to support growth plans
- Lead the development and enhancement of pricing methodologies and tools
- Mentor analysts and review work prepared by other actuaries on the Reinsurance Pricing Team
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
- ACAS designation strongly preferred or near completion with demonstrated advanced actuarial judgment
- 6+ years of Commercial Insurance or Reinsurance pricing experience
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, and/or R is a plus
- Experience with pricing tools at a large reinsurance company or broker
