Associate Security Analyst

Job Summary

Passionate about cybersecurity, the full-time remote Associate Security Analyst will monitor and analyze security incidents, respond to alerts, and support vulnerability assessments while leveraging cutting-edge security tools in a dynamic team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze log data and network traffic in real-time to identify security incidents
• Respond to, triage, and escalate security incidents using a SIEM platform following established procedures
• Draft security incident reports and assist in the execution of vulnerability scans for remediation recommendations

Required qualifications

• US Citizenship is required
• 0-2 years of experience in an operational or technical environment, preferably with customer-facing responsibilities
• Foundational understanding of core networking concepts including TCP/IP and common Internet protocols
• Exposure to or basic understanding of information/cyber security roles, particularly in security monitoring and analysis
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM platforms
