Associate Security Specialist

Job Summary

Providing technical support to classified programs, the full-time Associate Security Specialist will manage government security elements related to the protection of classified information while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee personnel security, information security, education and training, and physical security for classified information
• Participate in government security inspections and maintain accountability systems for classified materials
• Process security clearances and implement security plans and procedures for the security program

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with typically 4+ years of relevant work experience
• Broad knowledge of government security concepts and regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program
• Familiarity with government security software such as JPAS, DIAS, and Scattered Castles
• Experience in a regulatory environment and conducting inquiries of security concern
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC automation skills
