Associate Software Developer
Job Summary
Joining a dynamic engineering team, the full-time Associate Software Developer will develop, test, and maintain backend services while working primarily remotely with occasional office visits in Bristol or London.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend services and REST APIs for customer-facing products
- Integrate enterprise data and workflow automation into existing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and release new features while participating in code reviews and troubleshooting
Required qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Good knowledge of one or more backend programming languages and frameworks
- Foundational understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design principles
- Some experience with REST APIs and relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity with source control tools like Git and Agile development practices
