Job Summary
Joining a dynamic, agile development team, the full-time remote Associate Software Engineer II will focus on building and supporting customer-facing web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Node.js, and Next.js while collaborating across teams and solving complex problems.
Key responsibilities
- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives to design, develop, and integrate moderately complex information systems
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs, subroutines, and scripts while optimizing functional requirements
- Responds to system failures and performance events, implementing measures to reduce downtime and prevent recurrence of issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of programming experience required
- 1 year of experience with information technology concepts and application development methodologies
- Expert working knowledge of at least one programming language in use at the company
- Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, and SQL queries
