Job Summary
Supporting the Space sector in a remote role, the full-time Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist will define material strategy, analyze supply/demand requirements, and plan inventory levels while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Define and develop material strategy, assessing supply resources and planning inventory and distribution requirements
- Participate in the make/buy process and long-term capacity planning, including product phase-in/out management
- Analyze purchase material supply/demand positions using MRP tools and create/reduce supply requirements based on inventory adjustments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related fields
- 0-2 years of related experience in supply chain or logistics
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility
