Associate, Tax Equity Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the Structuring team remotely, the full-time Associate, Tax/Preferred Equity will manage the screening, underwriting, and execution of transactions in renewable energy finance, focusing on tax equity and preferred equity structures.

Key responsibilities

• Support the screening and underwriting of new opportunities, including financial modeling for tax/hybrid and preferred equity transactions
• Assist in preparing investment materials for the Investment Committee, including transaction economics and risk analyses
• Work closely with senior team members to drive transactions from intake to closing while analyzing financials and project contracts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or MS is a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in renewable energy, structured finance, or investment banking
• Demonstrated exposure to tax equity and project finance transactions
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel, with familiarity in VBA or Python being a plus
• Willingness to obtain FINRA SIE, Series 79, and 63 under broker-dealer sponsorship
