Associate Underwriter

Job Summary

Supporting underwriting operations in a full-time capacity, the Associate Underwriter will manage endorsement requests and renewal account reviews, ensuring policies are accurately maintained and issued, while working remotely or onsite in Richmond, VA, or Rosemont, IL.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process endorsement requests, including policy changes and coverage modifications
• Evaluate renewal accounts by analyzing updated applications and underwriting documentation
• Communicate with agents and internal teams to clarify account details and support timely policy issuance

Required Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in business, insurance, risk management, finance, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in insurance, underwriting support, or policy processing preferred
• Basic understanding of property and casualty insurance concepts and underwriting workflows
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and policy administration systems
