Associate Underwriter - Alabama

Job Summary

Supporting the Personal Lines team, the full-time Associate Underwriter - Alabama will manage submission reviews, quoting, policy processing, and agent service in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review submissions and prepare quotes within underwriting guidelines and assigned authority
• Respond to agent inquiries regarding submissions, quotes, and policy changes
• Process renewals and endorsements, maintaining accurate records of policy changes and communications

Required qualifications

• Entry-level experience in personal lines insurance, agency service, or underwriting support preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• A willingness to learn and apply feedback while collaborating with teammates
