Assurance Manager UK/EU

Job Summary

Providing independent assurance across Trustly's UK and EU licensed entities, the full-time Assurance Manager UK/EU will manage risk assessments, oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, and report findings to local management and Boards, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an independent entity assurance opinion across all material risk areas and ensure consistency in reporting findings
• Collaborate with domain assurance managers and Internal Audit to develop control and testing plans, and report findings to the entity Board
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assurance matters with EU and UK regulators, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in compliance assurance, risk, regulatory control, or internal audit within a regulated financial services environment
• Strong understanding of payments risk and the EU and UK regulatory landscape relevant to payment and e-money institutions
• Proven ability to design risk-based assurance test plans and lead end-to-end assurance reviews
• Experience engaging with EU and/or UK financial supervisory authorities and building relationships with regulators
• Familiarity with GRC platforms and issue-management workflows, along with strong documentation skills
