ATO Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support a federal customer, the remote ATO Automation Engineer will design and implement automation for authorization activities, integrating security evidence and assessment results into traceable ATO processes in a contingent position based upon contract win.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze authorization workflows and identify automation opportunities to enhance efficiency
- Develop automated capabilities for evidence collection, validation, and reporting using approved technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate automation logic and maintain traceability in ATO processes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 5-8+ years of experience
- Experience with RMF/ATO processes and security assessment activities
- Proven ability to automate workflows and compliance activities through software or scripting
- Working knowledge of security controls and Government authorization processes
- Ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust; active Secret clearance preferred
