Job Summary
Providing legal analysis and judgment in a fully remote capacity, the Attorney Compliance Manager, Medicare Secondary Payer will manage Medicare Set-Asides, analyze statutes and regulations, and advise clients on settlement resolutions while ensuring compliance with Medicare's interests.
Key responsibilities
- Review medical records, payment histories, and claim documents to create accurate Medicare Set-Aside allocations
- Develop CMS submission strategies and respond to development requests from CMS and WCRC
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage client caseloads and meet delivery deadlines effectively
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Hands-on experience reviewing medical records, preferably in a workers' compensation context
- 2-7 years of legal experience, with recent graduates encouraged to apply if they have relevant exposure
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with document management systems
