Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time independent Contractor Attorney Development Manager will manage attorney development initiatives, build feedback systems, and create a sense of community among associates in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build a feedback cadence to support associates' growth through consistent feedback rather than just annual reviews
- Create and manage learning and development programs grounded in adult learning theory to enhance associates' skills and career progression
- Develop programs that foster a sense of community among associates, ensuring they feel a belonging to the firm
Required qualifications
- Legal or attorney-development background, ideally within a law firm or legal tech environment
- Strong skills in designing learning and development programs based on adult learning theory
- Real coaching and mentoring experience, with a focus on directly developing individuals
- Working knowledge of US employment law as it relates to development and performance
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze utilization and performance data for decision-making
