Job Summary
To support various audio projects, the part-time Audio Editor will edit, mix, and finalize audio for podcasts and audiobooks while ensuring quality and meeting deadlines in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Sync audio vocals with video mouth movements and perform all aspects of audio recording, editing, and mixing
- Edit and clean raw audio files, removing noise and inconsistencies while collaborating with the production team
- Organize tracking systems for recordings and implement templates to enhance efficiency and accountability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Recording Arts or a related field
- Proficient in music and video editing software
- Technical skill in mixing, scoring, and editing audio
- A portfolio of previous work demonstrating audio editing experience
- Prior experience in music editing preferred
