Audio Editor - Multitrack Dialogue
Job Summary
To support a dynamic production team, the freelance Audio Editor - Multitrack Dialogue will work remotely, mastering multitrack recordings by cleaning, denoising, leveling, and aligning audio tracks while adhering to quality specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Master approximately one file every three hours by processing six audio tracks per session
- Apply and adjust processing per channel, correcting timing offsets between channels
- Deliver finalized files through the platform while following the QA rubric and incorporating reviewer feedback
Required qualifications
- Proficiency in a professional DAW (e.g., Reaper, Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic)
- Experience with multitrack dialogue editing and field recorder audio
- Strong noise reduction skills using iZotope RX or comparable tools
- Ability to identify and correct timing and phase issues between channels
- Availability for full-time hours for at least the next two weeks
