Audiovisual Design Specialist
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Audiovisual Design Specialist will design integrated AV systems for various facility types, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing projects remotely across the US, UK, and India.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare system designs including signal flow diagrams, floor plans, and construction document sets
- Coordinate with architects, IT teams, and AV integrators throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead AV design strategies and mentor junior designers at more senior levels
Required qualifications
- Experience designing AV systems across multiple facility types and industries
- Familiarity with platforms such as Crestron, Extron, and network technologies like AES67 and Dante
- Ability to produce AV construction documents and understand room acoustics fundamentals
- Degree in engineering, computer science, technology management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- AVIXA CTS or CTS-D certification preferred
