Audit and Appeal Analyst

Job Summary

To support the audit and appeal processes, the full-time Audit and Appeal Analyst will manage data entry of audit and denial correspondence, ensuring data integrity within the software solution while primarily working remotely with minimal onsite requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, scan, and accurately complete data entry of audit and denial correspondence within defined timeframes
• Maintain the data integrity of all records in the Audit and Appeal software solution
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of departmental and organizational goals

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Two years of related healthcare experience in revenue cycle, health information management, auditing, or patient accounting preferred
• Knowledge of computer applications relevant to the audit and appeal process
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
• Demonstrated personal qualities such as integrity, compassion, and respect for others
