Audit Resolution Specialist

Job Summary

To support operational excellence in mortgage quality, the full-time remote Audit Resolution Specialist will manage audit findings from identification through resolution, collaborating with various departments to address defects and enhance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of the active exception pipeline, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings
• Conduct root-cause analysis to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to gather necessary documentation and communicate resolutions effectively

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of professional work experience in mortgage operations
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mortgage appeals and resolutions
• Proficient in using Encompass and familiar with mortgage loan documentation and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to research complex issues and identify root causes
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate tracking of outstanding items
