Auto Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Auto Claims Specialist will make high-volume outbound calls to investigate, bill, and maximize payments on medical claims for hospitals and medical providers.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate details of auto accidents to determine appropriate payers and submit bills to insurance companies
• Perform follow-up actions on unpaid bills and contribute to denial reports and audits
• Utilize multiple software applications and maintain productivity metrics in a fast-paced call center environment

Required qualifications

• Experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing (preferred but not required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work on multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. and pass background checks
