Auto Claims Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Auto Claims Specialist will make high-volume outbound calls to investigate, bill, and maximize payments on medical claims for hospitals and medical providers.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to patients, insurance representatives, and attorneys to gather information on auto accidents and determine payers
- Submit bills and documentation to insurance companies, ensuring maximized payments and follow up on unpaid claims
- Contribute to team efforts by preparing denial reports, conducting audits, and providing overall support
Required qualifications
- Experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work on multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously
- Strong performance in a fast-paced, high outbound call center environment
- Must reside in the United States within specified states and have a secure internet connection
