Auto Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Auto Claims Specialist will make high-volume outbound calls to investigate and maximize payments on medical claims for hospitals and medical providers.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate auto accident details to determine the appropriate payer and submit bills with proper documentation to insurance companies
• Perform follow-up actions on unpaid claims, including resubmitting bills for additional payment
• Contribute to team efforts by generating denial reports and participating in audits

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to manage multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously
• Experience in a high outbound call center environment with productivity metrics
• Familiarity with Coordination of Benefits and insurance billing is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
