Auto Liability Adjuster II (TX License)

Job Summary

Focused on the investigation and settlement of Auto Liability claims, the full-time Auto Liability Adjuster II (TX License) will manage complex coverage issues and negotiate settlements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations to analyze coverage, determine liability, and assess damages for both first- and third-party claims
• Evaluate policy coverage and establish reserve requirements while maintaining communication with insureds, claimants, and attorneys
• Negotiate settlements and assess claims for potential fraud, collaborating with the Special Investigations Unit as necessary

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of property claims handling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Must have or secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s) and continuing education credits
• Strong negotiation skills in challenging situations
• Exceptional evaluation and judgment skills for setting expense and indemnity reserves
