Auto Property Damage Adjuster

Job Summary

Working remotely in a permanent position, the Auto Property Damage Litigation Adjuster will investigate automobile accidents involving property damage, assess coverage and liability, and negotiate settlements while providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluates, negotiates, and settles complex unrepresented, represented, and/or litigation claims in accordance with business unit best practices
• Collaborates with defense counsel to establish negotiation and litigation strategies
• Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making processes

Required qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience in claims handling (preferred)
• Experience with automobile accident investigations and property damage assessments
• Proficiency in utilizing negotiation platforms and tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and attorneys through various channels
• Knowledge of claims documentation and reserve management
