Seeking an Automated Test Engineer for a remote, full-time position, this role focuses on enhancing automated test suites using tools like WebdriverIO and Cypress to support the development of cloud-based analytics solutions for NOAA.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance automated test suites for end-to-end system tests, regression tests, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure high-quality delivery of cloud-based backend applications
- Utilize AI tooling to improve and maintain automated test scripts, ensuring compliance with 508 standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 5-7 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python programming languages
- Technical knowledge and experience with WebDriverIO, Cypress, or equivalent QA automation tools
- Experience in a large-scale software testing and verification environment
- US Citizen able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
