Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and procedures, ensuring that software products meet organizational standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures for software and IT systems
- Document and communicate test results, providing analysis and resolution for identified issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with continuous integration tools
- Deep hands-on experience with EDIFECS and knowledge of X.12 EDI transactions
