Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and document results in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure software quality
- Perform software testing and verification activities, documenting and communicating results effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve testing processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and scripts, with familiarity in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
