Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, write test cases, and perform software testing in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure software quality
- Conduct walkthroughs and collaborate with project stakeholders to refine testing processes
- Document test results, analyze issues, and report progress on problem resolution to management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and scripts, with familiarity in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with performance testing tools and languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
