Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and procedures, conduct software testing to ensure quality, and document test results while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure software quality
- Perform and lead software testing, documenting results and supporting issue resolution
- Collaborate with project managers and development leads to conduct walkthroughs and improve testing processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with continuous integration tools and defect tracking systems
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
