Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure compliance with organizational standards in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures for software and IT systems
- Lead testing efforts and document results while collaborating with project stakeholders
- Create daily test metrics and reports, and support the resolution of identified issues
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, with familiarity in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment tools and version control systems
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
