Job Summary
To ensure high-quality deliverables in software projects, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and cases, perform software testing, and document results in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
- Lead testing activities for software and IT systems, ensuring proper operation and defect-free performance
- Document test results, support analysis of outcomes, and communicate progress on issue resolution to management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, with familiarity in tools like JIRA
- Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards and experience with Edifecs preferred
