Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, write test cases, and lead software testing efforts in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures to ensure software quality
- Conduct tests and document results, providing analysis and resolution for identified issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing strategies and deliverables
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with testing tools and languages such as JMeter, Java, Python, and Git
