Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables while supporting the Veterans Affairs department.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure compliance with organization standards
- Perform and lead tests of software and IT systems, documenting and communicating test results effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and resolve issues while providing technical solutions to complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools and version control systems
