Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and procedures, ensuring software quality and compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures for software and IT systems
- Conduct walkthroughs and collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing objectives
- Document test results, analyze outcomes, and provide solutions for identified issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing with a focus on automated and manual testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, along with familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with continuous integration tools and defect tracking systems
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
