Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, write test cases, and lead software testing efforts to ensure compliance with organizational standards and user requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software and IT systems
- Conduct software testing and verification activities, documenting results and resolving issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and report on progress
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA and knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter
