Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and document results while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure software quality and compliance with standards
- Lead testing efforts, including manual and automated tests, and document test results and progress on issue resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and provide technical solutions to complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated methodologies
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, with familiarity in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with continuous integration/deployment tools and defect tracking systems
- U.S. Citizenship required, with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
