Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Automated Test Engineer, the full-time remote position will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure compliance with organization standards in the Veterans Affairs department.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to validate software quality
- Lead testing activities, document results, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and resolve issues effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with continuous integration tools
- Deep hands-on experience with EDIFECS and understanding of EDI transactions
