Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, write test cases and scripts, and perform software testing in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and compliance with user requirements
- Conduct walkthroughs with project stakeholders and document test results while supporting issue resolution
- Provide technical solutions to complex problems and contribute to the improvement of testing procedures and metrics
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated methods
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with continuous integration tools and defect tracking systems
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
