Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and cases, ensuring software quality and compliance with standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures for software and IT systems
- Lead testing efforts, document results, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and resolve issues effectively
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated methodologies
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, with familiarity in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with continuous integration tools and defect tracking systems
- Deep hands-on experience with Edifecs and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions
