Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
- Lead software testing efforts and document test results while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Analyze test results, resolve issues, and provide technical solutions to complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, with familiarity in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment tools and defect tracking systems
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
