Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and document results while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software and IT systems
- Lead testing activities and communicate results to stakeholders, ensuring all issues are documented and resolved
- Support improvements in testing procedures and contribute to the overall quality assurance process
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools and defect tracking systems
