Job Summary
To support mission-critical healthcare applications in a remote environment, the full-time Automated Test Engineer (MUMPS) will develop and execute test plans, validate software enhancements, and ensure quality assurance for systems operating in a MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for healthcare applications
- Support functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities while validating data integrity across systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze software defects and ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
- 10+ years of software testing, quality assurance, or system validation experience in healthcare or government environments
- Experience testing applications developed using MUMPS and/or InterSystems Cache
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR
- Ability to analyze system logs and application errors to identify root causes of defects
