Job Summary
To support mission-critical healthcare applications, the full-time Automated Test Engineer (MUMPS) will develop and execute test plans, validate software enhancements, and ensure data integrity in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for healthcare applications in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments
- Support functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Analyze and troubleshoot software defects and integration failures, ensuring quality assurance for legacy healthcare systems
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation
- Experience testing applications developed using MUMPS and/or InterSystems Cache
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
