Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating with engineering and production teams, the full-time Automation Engineer will develop, program, implement, and maintain high-performance automation systems to optimize manufacturing efficiency and quality in an onsite role.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control systems for automated manufacturing equipment, including PLCs and robotics
- Program and optimize industrial robots for various automated production processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance equipment performance and ensure compliance with safety standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience in automotive or regulated manufacturing environments with automated production systems
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, controls, and robotics
- Willingness to work on the production floor and support off-shift manufacturing issues
- Flexibility to work extended hours and travel for training or technical support as needed
