Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Automation Engineer, the full-time salaried position will focus on optimizing and maintaining advanced automation systems for a major online retailer, with responsibilities including troubleshooting software programs and enhancing system performance across multiple locations, including remote options.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems, including PLC programming
- Inspect and ensure equipment operation meets design capabilities and client specifications
- Monitor industrial networks and collaborate with site teams to resolve equipment performance issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in at least two engineering design cycles, including specification and programming
- 2+ years of experience with PLC programming and SCADA-based systems
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Physical capability to lift/carry loads of 50 lbs. or more and perform manual tasks
