Automation Software Engineer
Job Summary
To drive the development of high-quality software products, the full-time Automation Software Engineer will build innovative solutions using technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Research and access APIs to understand their structures and available data without screen scraping
- Write robust, scalable code to extract and transform data from public APIs into common data models
- Take ownership of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including QA, build, deployment, and support
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of software development experience as a full-stack engineer, focusing on Node.js and TypeScript
- Familiarity with agile development practices and version control systems like Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn large software systems quickly
- Experience with REST APIs and authentication mechanisms such as JWT, SAML, and OAuth
