Automation Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support a long-term contract, the remote Automation Test Engineer will design, develop, and automate tests using modern frameworks, ensuring system functionality and integration while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Designs and executes automated tests for smoke, functional, integration, and end-to-end validations
- Builds and maintains automated regression suites to ensure reliability and prevent defects
- Collaborates with developers and QA teams to align test plans with evolving business requirements
Required qualifications:
- Experience with Playwright and Java, including Java Rest Assured framework for API automation
- Hands-on experience with test management tools such as XRAY
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or a closely related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance methodologies and practices
- Knowledge of multiple software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
