Automation Tester with Ruby
Job Summary
Experienced in automation testing with Ruby, the full-time hybrid Automation Tester will design and maintain automated test scripts, execute comprehensive testing activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of business-critical applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Ruby-based frameworks
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities, including REST/API testing
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define test scenarios and document defects
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Automation Testing
- Strong expertise in Ruby testing and familiarity with the Property & Casualty Insurance domain
- Hands-on experience with Jira for defect tracking and test management
- Proficiency in manual testing and REST/API service testing
- Experience with SQL queries at the ETL QA level and knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter is a plus
