AV Installation Technician

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the AV Installation Technician will provide end-to-end system engineering and quality assurance for audiovisual and video conferencing technologies, collaborating with various teams to ensure high standards in installations and project success.

Key responsibilities

• Install AV systems to the highest standards, including first and second fix works, commissioning, and handover checks
• Collaborate with the installation team to achieve project deadlines and maintain consistent quality
• Conduct maintenance visits, fault-finding, and repairs to ensure all AV equipment functions correctly

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in AV/VC systems in a corporate environment (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco)
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking and various audio/video protocols and codecs
• Ability to read and interpret AV schematics
• Experience with installation of modern audiovisual systems
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
