AV Installation Technician
Job Summary
To support the delivery of high-quality audiovisual systems installations, the full-time AV Installation Technician will provide end-to-end system engineering, collaborate with project teams, and ensure meticulous installation standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide quality assurance and system engineering for integrated audiovisual and video conferencing technologies
- Take ownership of the AV systems integration process, analyzing and implementing best practices for installations
- Collaborate with the install team to meet project deadlines and maintain consistent quality in installations
Required qualifications
- Proficiency in AV/VC systems knowledge in a corporate environment (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco)
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking and various audio/video protocols and codecs
- Ability to read and interpret AV schematics
- Experience in the installation of modern audio and videoconferencing systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and unsupervised when necessary
